Vanity's Story: 

I met Vanity during a fateful vacation in Puerto Rico. While I mindlessly soaked up some sun, Vanity eagerly awaited adoption. The Sato Project had rescued her from Dead Dog Beach (a dumping ground for strays), where she was pregnant, suffering from burns, distemper, and heartworm. Fortunately, they nursed the Pitbull mix back to full health. Unfortunately, she sat unadopted for 2 years due to her misjudged breed. And that’s when Angela Adan (Freddie and Her Friends) and I entered the scene. 

She had heard about The Sato Project through and we decided to spend one of our vacation days volunteering. We met Vanity, and were immediately smitten. Not long after, I moved out of my non-pet-friendly apartment—and into a place that allowed furry companions. Soon enough, Vanity was transported to the states, and our adventures together began. 

Vanity had an old soul that could sway any Pitt-weary hearts. She joined me at work most days, and her enthusiasm for cuddles and friendly greetings was unmatched. She changed my life and motivated me to give back to deserving animals. Even in the darkest days, she lit up my world. 

For this reason, I chose Vanity as the first subject of my socks. Though she’s no longer with us physically, her spirit lives on. In Vanity’s honor, I paired her likeness with sprinkled donuts for the sock design. I’ve always enjoyed the round dough delight and even created a company that made dog-safe donuts while she was alive. Ready for a sweet feet memorial?

Your happiness is our top priority. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the items to us in their original condition and original packaging within 15 days of receipt. We will issue a refund to your original form of payment or exchange the items for a different size/color, if preferred, once the item arrives back at our location.
